As Beyoncé is getting ready for the release of her upcoming album, Renaissance, she is running #MeToo checks on all producers and artists associated with the album.

While this isn’t sitting too well with some people, Beyoncé doesn’t care sources say she ‘wants to set an example that any abuse shouldn’t be normalized.’

Beyoncé’s decision to run the background checks stems from her former collaborator, Detail, who produced her 2013 hit, “Drunk In Love,” being arrested in 2020 for 15 counts of sexual assault.

Beyoncé has since stopped working with Detail, and two songs by top artists have been rejected due to allegations they are facing.
