Starbucks employees received an email stating they were not permitted to wear clothing or accessories supporting Black Lives Matter.
They instructed employees to refer to the company’s accessories policy that forbids accessories that, advocated a political, religious or personal issues.
Many employees noted that Starbucks encourages employees to wear pro-LGBTQ+ pins especially during Pride Month which is in June.
