Brie Lawson Auditioned For “Thor” And “Iron Man 2”

Brie Lawson almost appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before her iconic role as Captain Marvel.

In her “Audition Story Time” video on YouTube, Lawson said she auditioned for Thor and Iron Man 2. We don’t know what parts she was up for.

When Marvel called her to play Captain Marvel, she almost said no. Larson thought, “Oh, I can’t do that. I have too much anxiety. That’s too much for me. I don’t think I could handle that.”

Lawson also said, “I’m too much of an introvert. That’s way too big of a thing for me.” It was beyond my comprehension.” It’s a good thing she didn’t get the first auditions and didn’t turn down the offer to play Carol Danvers.
