Daniel Kaluuya To Play Fred Hampton In New Movie

Judas and the Black Messiah is an upcoming American biographical drama film about American Black Panther Party activist Fred Hampton.

The film is directed and produced by Shaka King  and stars Daniel Kaluuya, Lakeith Stanfield, Jesse Plemons, Dominique Fishback, Ashton Sanders, Algee Smith, and Martin Sheen.

So who is Fred Hampton? Fred Hampton was an American Black Panther Party activist and revolutionary socialist.In this capacity, he founded the Rainbow Coalition, a prominent multicultural political organization that initially included the Black Panthers, Young Patriots and the Young Lords, and an alliance among major Chicago street gangs to help them end infighting and work for social change.

Based on this first trailer, Daniel Kaluuya should definitely be getting an Oscar.
