Hip-Hop And R&B Artists Postpone Album Drops
Because of the unrest in America, a number of Hip Hop and R&B artists have decided to push back the release of their EP or album.
Chloe x Halle, G-Eazy, Boosie Badazz, Max B, Iann Dior, Marlon Craft, and Dizzy Wright and Demrick have all decided to delay their projects after they were scheduled to be released on Friday.
we’ll be postponing our album to June 12th in solidarity of all the beautiful black lives lost ✊🏾🖤#BlackLivesMatter pic.twitter.com/Jmeb5hT2Im

Let it be noted that while some decided to delay their releases, others like Run The Jewels, Flatbush Zombies, and Lil Keke and Paul have decided to release their work as planned.

For the next month 100 percent of all profits from my merch site will be donated to various organizations. Been inspired by so many people for doing their parts by marching, protesting, speaking up, using their platforms and contributing however big or small in whatever ways they can. This is just one way that I’ll continue to strive to do mine. This is also an open call to all of my incredible fellow artists who would be open to joining with their own respective merch drives and giving to whichever organizations that are close to their hearts. Be Safe. 🖤
