Kanye defended his stance on being pro-life by coming to the interview with Tucker Carlson wearing an ultrasound lanyard around his neck.

When asked about it, Kanye said, “It just represents life. I’m pro-life,” West clarified. Carlson asked what response the rapper gets when he wears it.

“I don’t care about people’s responses, but I care about the fact that there are more black babies being aborted than born in New York City at this point,” West replied. “That 50% of Black death in America is abortion. So I really don’t care about people’s response to that. I perform for an audience of one, and that is God.”

Kanye also defended himself and the models of his YZY Fashion Week show for wearing “White Lives Matter” shirts saying the reason why he wore the shirt is “because they do,” and has said he and others wearing the shirt will be “greenlit,” or beat up on sight if caught wearing the shirt.
