TMZ caught up with Irv Gotti who had some thoughts about Drake’s new album.
He stressed that he likes Drake as a person but he is worried about the state of hip hop.
He said Drake’s new album is not hip hop.
He said listening to Drake’s album makes him want to find the next DMX, the next Ja Rule, the next Jay-Z.
Irv said Drake is too influential to sway that far away from hip hop and his dance music could actually kill hip hop.
