J Balvin is bringing in Halloween with a Fortnite performance that will introduce a new song from the Reggaeton artist.
Balvin is set to headline Fortnite’s annual “Fortnitemares” event which started on Tuesday (October 20th) and will conclude with Balvin’s performance on October 31st.
Fortnite’s first in-game concert was in 2019 with Marshmello with Travis Scott upping the ante with is “Astronomical” concert drawing in over 12.3 million people at its peak.
Balvin’s show will implement cross reality (XR) technology, LED walls, and camera tracking for his set, which was recorded at Fortnite studios. Balvin’s performance will also bring a new skin for purchase (1,200 V-Bucks or $12) gamers who buy the skin and attend the “Afterlife Party” will get an exclusive J Balvin style for it.
