Around 8:30pm EST on the 4th of July, Kanye West made his presidential announcement.
On Twitter he wrote, we must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States #2020Vision.
Reactions were diverse with his wife, Kim Kardashian retweeting his message with an emoji of the American flag.

When someone asked Mark Cuban if he would vote for Kanye he responded, if there was Rank Choice voting available and Kanye West was on the ballot with Joe Biden and Donald Trump I would have Kanye West ahead of Donald Trump.
Many on social media feel that Kanye is playing with the political system. They are afraid people may seriously write his name in much like they did Harambe in 2016.
