Kanye West Says He’s Done With Trump In Strange Forbes Interview
Kanye West gave us a lot to unpack with his recent interview with Forbes. The “God Is King” rapper discussed everything from his declaration to run for president in 2020 and his changing his stance on the president.
“I am taking the red hat off, with this interview,” Kanye said. He went on to explain that he wore the hat “as a protest to the segregation of votes in the Black community. Also, other than the fact that I like Trump hotels and the saxophones in the lobby.”
He also said that he’s ok with siphoning off Black votes from the Democratic nominee, thus helping Trump. “I’m not denying it, I just told you. To say that the Black vote is Democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy.”
Kanye says he was disappointed to learn that the president retreated to a bunker during the Washington D.C. protests.
But it was his comments on the vaccine that could cure COVID-19 that was pretty interesting.
During the interview Kanye revealed that he had the coronavirus back in February and described his symptoms as having,“Chills, shaking in the bed, and taking hot showers,” but him having the virus was a competitive feat for Ye, “I remember someone had told me Drake had the coronavirus and my response was Drake can’t be sicker than me!” said Kanye.
Even though he suffered through the coronavirus he still doesn’t believe that vaccines to control it is the answer saying, “I’m extremely cautious. That’s the mark of the beast. They want to put chips inside of us, they want to do all kinds of things, to make it where we can’t cross the gates of heaven.”
