Lizzo And Letterman Discuss The Black Lives Matter Movement
David Letterman is returning to Netflix with the 3rd season of My Guest Needs No Introduction.
In the trailer for the upcoming season he sits down with Lizzo and they discuss the Black Lives Matter Movement.
Lizzo talks about one case from 2015 that happened near her home of Jamar Clark and how it impacted her.
As a Black citizen of this country I’ve been heartbroken by the way we’ve been treated and seen my entire life.
But she is hopeful for the future. Speaking on the current protests she said, this time I saw something different. I saw the sudden allyship of young white people which I had never seen…and that got me for the first time a little hopeful.
The new season drops on Netflix October 23rd. Also this season David will talk to Kim Kardashian, Robert Downey Jr and Dave Chappelle.
