McDonald’s New Travis Scott Meal Has Franchisee’s Mad
Not everyone is “McLovin’” Travis Scott’s new happy meal. Some McDonald’s franchisees are upset with the partnership the fast-food chain has formed with the rapper.
The franchisees are citing his explicit lyrics as the reason why they don’t want to see the special Travis Scott meal in their restaurants.
Scott has garnered a huge fanbase that has overwhelmingly supported his sneakers, Fortnite concert, and recent cereal, which sold out in 30 seconds.
Travis Scott is the only celebrity to get his own McDonald’s meal since Michael Jordan and McDonald’s debuted the “McJordan” back in 1992. Travis’ meal consists of a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon, and lettuce; medium fries with a barbecue dipping sauce; and a Sprite — all for six dollars.
