Simone Biles Withdraws From Gymnastics Due To Medical Issue
Olympic champion Simone Biles unexpectedly pulled out of the women’s team gymnastics final Tuesday morning.
According to USA gymnastics they are citing an undisclosed medical issue.
Simone will be assessed daily to determine if she can return for future competitions.
Jordan Chiles competed for Simone on the uneven bars.
Russia went on to win gold, USA-silver, Great Britain-bronze.
