Uber is about to buy out one of its biggest competitors in the food delivery business.
The company will acquire Postmates for $2.65 billion, after a deal to merge with Grubhub fell through earlier this year.
The move better positions the rapidly-growing Uber Eats service to compete with DoorDash, the most-used food delivery service.
Lmao how is it legal to just buy your biggest competitor so you don’t have to compete on price or service anymore. Insane. https://t.co/byUcJLBi22

Uber can afford to buy @Postmates for $2.65 BILLION at the same time they claim they can’t afford to pay drivers a living wage.
What a joke. https://t.co/8B4PBBkrCb
