Zendaya Is Lola Bunny In “Space Jam 2”

As if we’re not already excited about Space Jam being rebooted for a new generation but now the film’s director, Malcolm D. Lee has announced that Zendaya will voice Lola Bunny.

Lee says it was important to,”reflect the authenticity of strong, capable female characters.”  Lee says the Lola Bunny character was reworked to make sure “she had an appropriate length on her shorts and was feminine without being objectified, but gave her a real voice.”

Lee says the thought process to “ground her athletic prowess, her leadership skills, and make her as full a character as the others.”
